STEERING SYSTEMS from JASTRAM

Header TankA Header or Expansion Tank installed at the highest point of the steering system ensures that the system will always remain full of fluid.
Jog Lever JO100The JO100 "non follow-up" power steering lever offers an economical and effective means of steering your vessel with minimal effort.
Control Panel CP-36This small panel is used to activate steering control stations and their controllers. Measures 3" x 6".
Control Panel CP-66This small panel is used to activate steering control stations and their controllers. Measures 6" x 6".
Safety Relief Valve (DARB)The DARB (Double Acting Relief and Bypass) Valve is a protective device.
Emergency Station Junction BoxAuxiliary means of steering. Usually equipped with rudder angle indication and Non follow-up control. This is usually mounted in the Engine control room or steering gear compartment. This component is usually required for classification requirements depending on the type of vessel.
Electric Wheel EW200The EW200 helms, when combined with other Jastram components provide effortless, full follow-up, power steering.
Helm Pump H26/36/58The H26/36/58 provide excellent primary or backup steering for small and relatively large steering systems.
Helm Pump H60/H90/H110The Jastram "H" series manually operated helm is a precision made axial piston pump specifically designed to operate effectively at a very slow turning rate.
Lever ControllerSteering levers come in two basic variations: the "jog" lever (JO100) and the "full follow-up" lever (LC100 FFU).
Rudder Angle IndicatorBeing aware of the rudder position enhances safety and is of great help while docking or maneuvering.
Rudder Follow-up Unit RFU 1300Steering levers come in two basic variations: the "jog" lever (JO100) and the “full follow-up lever (LC100 FFU).
Rudder Follow-up Unit RFU 2000It features an optional "contact-free" hall effect device that virtually eliminates the wear commonly experienced with potentiometers.
Starter Panel SP-66The SP-66 switch allows two Motor Starter systems to be connected with the option of selecting either MSA at a time.
Starter Panel SP-36-1The SP-36-1 is designed to start and stop one Motor Starter and Alarm system.
Testing Panel TP-36This testing panel can serve two MSA systems. The design is such that a second set of contacts can be added to test/silence the second MSA system.
